BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You’re stepping into a pivotal role as a Business Development Officer, where your focus is on expanding the client base by building strategic relationships, executing a consistent outreach system, and converting qualified prospects into signed agreements.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Build and manage a pipeline of fleet-reliant organizations (20+ assets)

  • Book and lead discovery calls; qualify needs and decision processes

  • Coordinate demos/pilots with the internal team to prove value quickly

  • Present proposals and close deals with integrity and clarity

  • Keep clean CRM notes, stages, and weekly pipeline reporting

Required:

  • B2B sales experience with a track record (you can show numbers)

  • Excellent communication and follow-up discipline

  • Strong integrity and ownership—if something breaks, you fix the system

  • Comfortable speaking with operational leaders and executives

  • Bonus Points: Fleet, telematics, maintenance, logistics, construction, utilities, or government experience

  • Experience selling services that require ongoing relationships (not one-time transactions)
